Billie Faiers has revealed she’s preparing to spend her first ever Christmas without sister Sam.
The close-knit siblings are switching up their usual routine as Billie, 28, enjoys the festive season with hubby-to-be Greg Shepherd – and 35 other guests.
Mummy Diaries star Billie spoke exclusively to the Mirror all about the exiting plans for her last Christmas before her wedding, as she and fiancé Greg prepare to tie the knot in 2019.
She said: “We’ve got both of our families coming round to our house, there’s going to be 35 of us altogether.
“We’ve got a really big family Christmas this year so it should be really good.”
But sadly, sister Sam, her partner Paul Knightley and their two children won’t be joining them.
“It’s our first Christmas without each other. It’ll be weird and I’ll really miss her,” admitted Billie.
“But we’re going to do a pre Christmas day with all the kids,” she added.
Billie and Sam share a very close bond, with the latter organising her sister’s hen do in August this year.
A group including Billie’s mum and auntie, her close pals and former TOWIE star Ferne McCann all jetted off to Ibiza for the boozy bash.
“I had the time of my life,” said Billie. “Being with all the girls was amazing. A lot of us are mums now and we haven’t done that kind of holiday in years.
“There was never a dull moment. Everyone just got on, it was brilliant.”
There had been much hype about Ferne being welcomed back into the Faiers fold after her fallout with Sam earlier this year.
But according to Billie, there was no time for any tension on their raucous jaunt abroad.
“I never stopped speaking to her. It was all fine. We were there to have fun and nobody was going to bring up anything from the past,” she said.
After months of not speaking, Ferne and Sam were pictured cosying up to each other in matching leopard print swimsuits.
Ferne and Billie’s friendship has had a few awkward moments over the last 12 months including when the former plugged Charlotte Crosby’s new show, which was on TV at the same time of the Faiers’ siblings’ programme.
Back in April, Ferne tweeted: “Buzzing for The Charlotte Show. Second ep on MTV UK starting in one hour.”
However, Billie’s fiance Greg wasn’t impressed and tweeted back: “Wow!! #socalledbesties.”
After burying the hatchet oat the start of summer, Billie said the trio are back on track and she arranged a Christmas night-in with sister Sam and Ferne.
“I’ve had so much to do with the kids but I’m hosting a cheese and wine night with the girls at mine,” she said.
Billie showed she was getting into the Christmas spirit early as she donned a cheeky elf costume to help out at the Thorntons Cheeky Elf Academy, after partnering with the chocolate brand.
As she promotes their new campaign, Billie looked especially festive in her green elf-inspired mini dress set off with some thigh high black boots.
“It’s all about doing the little touches for the children,” said Billie. “That’s what makes Christmas extra special.”
