Boyz N The Hood actor Jessie Lawrence Ferguson found dead at his home at the age of 77
Actor Jessie Lawrence Ferguson has died, according to TMZ. He was 77-years old.
Ferguson reportedly passed away unexpectedly at his home in Palmdale, California Friday night.
The Bronx, New York native is best known for playing a dirty police officer in the 1991 hit drama Boyz N The Hood.

So far there’s no word on an official cause of death, although police have already deemed that nothing suspicious was found at the scene.
Ferguson’s first major role was in the cop series Starsky and Hutch. He also starred in John carpenter’s Prince Of Darkness, Sam Raimi’s Darkness and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

News of his death comes just days after Boyz N The Hood director John Singleton, 51, suffered a stroke. He’s been in a coma in ICU for the last 10 days.
Since then, a family squabble has broken out over his estate.
Singleton’s mother, Sheila Ward, has asked a judge to appoint her a temporary conservator, claiming her son is unable to conduct his business affairs due to the severity of the stroke.
Daughter Cleopatra Singleton denies her claims saying the stroke wasn’t as bad as her grandmother has made it out to be. She believes she’s just trying to get a hold of his estate.
