Jennifer Lopez will hopes it’s fourth time lucky as she’s set to marry her superstar baseball boyfriend Alex Rodriguez after he popped the question.
The former New York Yankees star tweeted a picture of him putting a GIANT ring on the superstar’s finger with the caption ‘she said yes’.
J-Lo, 49, also shared the picture with loads of heart emojis. The pair started dating in early 2017.
The couple have been dating for a number of years and it will be the Cuban star’s fourth attempt at wedded bliss after tying the knot with Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony.
Actress and singer Lopez, 49, was married to singer Marc Anthony, her third husband, for 10 years. The pair have two children together, twins Max and Emme.
She hopes she’s got the right man now though and he seems smitten.
Last year everyone was in awe of J-Lo at the MTV VMAs – but no one more than her boyfriend Alex.
The retired baseball player – known as A-Rod – accompanied J-Lo to the show where was honoured with the Video Vanguard Award.
And he was supporting the Love Don’t Cost a Thing singer all night – adoringly taking pictures of her on the red carpet and filming her performance.
The 43-year-old singer made history when she became the first Latin American artist to be honoured with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
At the end of her performance, the ‘Jenny from the Block’ star accepted her golden Moonman statue from singer Shawn Mendes.
But everyone was waiting for her to thank her love A-Rod.
“Alex, you’re my twin soul. We’re like mirror images of each other my life is sweeter and better with you in it,” she said.
It’s of course not the first time J-Lo has been proposed to.
In 1996 Cuban waiter Ojani Noa presented her with a giant diamond ring.
The pair married in 1997 but split up a year later.
Other boyfriends include Puff Daddy – but they split when he was involved in a nightclub gun fight.
She married dancer Cris Judd but they split in 2002 before a high-profile romance with Ben Affleck.
He presented her with a $3.5million engagement ring, but ‘Bennifer’ didn’t work out as she quickly wed long-time pal Marc Anthony.
They had twins in 2008 but they split in 2011 before she paired up with LA dancer Casper Smart.
They were together for nearly five years before she fell for ‘A-Rod’ in 2017.
In an interview with Red magazine she explained: “Both Alex and I are Latino. We are both self-made. He was always the hardest working baseball player that was – me, the same.
“We have that in common. We have the same work ethic. We also appreciate and know that coming from nothing, we always want to try to help and give back and teach our kids that.”
She added: “I feel like I’m in my second, third, or fourth act. I feel like I’ve lived several lifetimes already and I’ve had to figure myself out along the way, work out why I felt a certain way, or got into relationships that didn’t serve me.
“And I finally realised, ‘It’s me. It’s all me. I got to fix some stuff. I need to understand my own worth and value’.”
