Joe Swash was viciously trolled over an Instagram post of his older son Harry cradling his newborn brother.
The young dad faced backlash from his fans just days after partner Stacey Solomon gave birth to a baby boy, who is yet to be named.
Former Eastenders actor Joe took to Instagram to post an adorable snap of his 11-year-old son, who he shares with ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous, holding the 10-day-old tot.
He captioned the sweet black and white image: “In this picture is my whole world. My two boys.”
Fans immediately jumped down the actor’s throat, criticising his choice of words.
One wrote: “What about Stacey?”, while another shot back: “What about Stacey and her children, aren’t you meant to be a family”.
Other Instagram users scolded the star telling him that he should treat all the children in his and Stacey’s relationship in the same way, while others suggested Joe rethink his caption.
However, many fans rushed to Joe’s defence, with one writing: “Lots of judgy people here. Joe is allowed to announce that his boys are his world, just like Stacey did on her post.
“He still loves his step sons like they are his own and Stacey he will love unconditionally….. Stop phishing for stuff that’s relevant.”
Another clapped back: “Funny how when stacey posts a picture of her 3 sons she doesn’t get stick for not involving Joe’s son but theres loads on here saying about Joe not involving her boys.”
One Instagram fan wrote: “Absolutely beautiful. That is all that should be said about this post. Ignore the negativity xxx”.
Another praised Joe, saying: “He obviously loves stacey and her boys other wise they wouldn’t have extended their family together.
“@realjoeswashy please ignore people the love for you children is natural and we all no you love stacey and her boys as well!”
Joe and Stacey welcomed the newest addition to their family on May 23.
Shortly after the birth, Joe posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute to his girlfriend, saying: “This morning. A lot earlier than planned I watched the love of my life, bring a new life into the world.
“We are overwhelmed, overjoyed and apprehensive of what’s to come. Mummy and baby are well and resting.”
He added: “We are so grateful for all of the love, support and positivity we’ve received over the last 8 months. I’m lost for words to describe how I’m feeling.
“So for now, I’m going to spend the next few days and the rest of my life falling more in love with these two humans. I didn’t think it possible but, today I witnessed the impossible.
“My partner, My love, my life, you are a super human. I am forever in awe. Joe X”
