Amy Hart is secretly hoping that Curtis Pritchard will ‘realise what he is missing’ and come back to his former Love Island partner.

The 26-year-old air stewardess has reaffirmed her love for 23-year-old professional dancer Curtis and is still hopeful they can rekindle their romance once the ITV2 series has finished.

Amy sensationally quit the villa after being heartbreakingly dumped by Curtis, after he admitted that he wasn’t ‘feeling’ a romantic connection.

Curtis has since become the object of desire for Maura Higgins, which was the final straw for Amy and helped her realise that she wanted out of the Love Island villa.

She gave a moving leaving speech and asked for Curtis to be “best friends” with her, but Amy is still hoping that they could spark a romance once he is back it the real world.

This is despite new girl Francesca Allen coupling up with Curtis in the villa and Maura vowing to ‘win him back’.

A source has told The Sun Online that Amy is still hoping that her leaving will make him “realise what he has lost and that he has made a mistake.”

Despite being involved in a love triangle in th villa, Amy is hoping that there is still room in his heart for her and will “realise how much he misses her and has a change of heart.”

Amy has since stated that she left the villa as she felt it was the best idea for her mental health.

After making her decision to quit the villa, Amy told Curtis: “I met you and you completely turned my whole world around.

“We made each other happy… I want us to be best, best friends but we both need to move on and we both need to find someone that is going to make us as happy as we make them.

“Realistically for you, you will not be happy all the time here because you’ll always put me first because you’re such a good person.

“That’s why I love you so much and that’s why I want you to be happy. You are not going to be happy whilst I’m still here.

“So, I’m leaving today but it’s a positive thing because I’m going to go and start the rest of my life today.

“I’m going to let you go and you pursue whoever it is you want to pursue and hope that you find whatever you are looking for.

“Once this is all done we will have the best friendship you have ever seen in your life.”

Despite the attentions of two girls in the villa, Amy will be heartened to see that Curtis has yet to commit to any of them like he did to her initially.
