Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have hired a celebrity nanny to help raise their first baby, according to reports.
Connie Simpson, known as ‘Nanny Connie’ was reportedly suggested to them by their friends Amal and George Clooney, seen at the royal couple’s wedding back in May.
The nanny, from Mobile, Alabama, is author of the book ‘The Nanny Connie Way – secrets to mastering the first four months of parenthood’.
She has worked for many A-list parents including Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, and Cash Warren and Jessica Alba.
Connie told the Daily Star: “I’ll tell Meghan that in all the things you can give a person, the most important thing you can give them is yourself and your love.
“The baby is going to have no earthly idea that their mother is Meghan Markle and that she’s Prince Harry’s wife.
“They will just know her for being the one to supply that milk and give comfort.”
She continued that her advice would be to simply enjoy being a mum, the way her body will ‘transform’, as well as all the different stages of the child’s life.
Yet she said the former US actress should try not to be overwhelmed by all the advice she is bound to receive.
Connie has previously said she has taken care of 257 babies over her 30 year career, according to reports.
She said last year: “‘Nanny Connie’ is a title- I feel that I am more of a life coach.
“I’m a family coach. I’m all about the nucleus of the family, and being together.”
Justin Timberlake posted on his official Instagram page in June 2017: “Please meet one of my OTHER MOTHERS, my SISTER FROM ANOTHER MISTER, and someone I like to call, “The Baby Whisperer.”
“This is @nannyconnie and she is a living angel.
“She taught me so much on how to #JustBeTheParent and she’s from the South so we are probably related (same swag).
“Follow her for guidance, knowledge and more!!! (sic).”
Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland is also expected to have a key role in bringing up her grandchild.
The baby is due next spring, Kensington Palace have previously said.
