NATHAN DYER is a target for Reading – with Swansea looking to slash their wage bill.
The 30-year-old winger is wanted for a loan at the Madejski Stadium for the season under his old boss Paul Clement.
Swansea are looking to offload players to balance the books and are happy to see Dyer leave for the rest of the campaign.
The Swans’ owners admitted in a statement they were paying for the “transfer mistakes” of the past – and that has meant players leaving this summer.
Dyer, who has a Premier League winners’ medal from his time at Leicester when he was a squad player, will be allowed out should a deal be struck.
Clement is looking to bolster his squad with pace for a Championship promotion campaign and believes Dyer will be competing for a first-team place.
