Stacey Solomon says pregnancy is AGEING her and she fears postnatal depression

Celebrity News

It sounds like Stacey Solomon is not exactly enjoying her third pregnancy as she has noticed her body is being ravaged by her current condition.

The 29-year-old star is pregnant with her first child with lover Joe Swash, 37 – while she has two sons already from two other previous relationships (six-year-old Leighton from a romance with businessman Aaron Barham, and ten-year-old Zachary from her failed romance with businessman Dean Cox).

While the star says she is happy to be expecting again, she says her third pregnancy is having unexpected effects on her body – which she thinks is now ageing rapidly.

Opening up to The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, Stacey says she knows some women thrive in pregnancy – describing one friend who becomes “zen” whenever she is expecting – but she is feeling quite the opposite.

Stacey Solomon says her third pregnancy has left her exhausted and going grey

“I don’t feel like that. My hair has gone grey – honestly, it has!” she exclaimed.

“I’ve been horrifically sick and I’m so tired. Obviously I’m grateful and I wouldn’t want anyone to think I’m not elated, but I’m not in love with being pregnant,” she went on.

Stacey experienced crippling postnatal depression when she gave birth to her first son back in 2008 – and she says she is wary that she could fall victim to the condition again.

“My first pregnancy was just alien to me. I don’t know if I was in denial about the whole thing because I was so young,” she recalls.

“I don’t remember ever feeling pregnant. But I know that postnatal depression doesn’t discriminate between whether you’re in a good or bad place in life – it can affect anyone,” she said.

“So I don’t for one minute think that just because my circumstances might be what are classed as ‘better’ now, that I’m not susceptible. I know I need to stay on top of it and notice that if I do feel myself going a certain way, then I can get the help I need,” she said.
