In light of Kylie Jenner becoming the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, ever, Forbes has released the list of world’s billionaires.

The list consists of 2153 billionaires with 53 of them being millennials.

Altogether, these men and women are worth an eye-watering R3 trillion.

Millennials are recognised as those between 23 to 38.

Forbes has determined the list by examining these billionaires net worth, which is made up of things such as the companies they own, their art collections and other assets like property.

Forbes released the list on 5 March 2019.

These millennials include household names, such as Mark Zuckerberg to names that no one has ever heard of.

The world’s richest millenials

Number 16 on the list is Geoffrey Kwok with a net worth of R42 billion. Kwok is only 33 years old, but already owns a multi-billion Rand empire. Kwok is based in Hong Kong.

Sitting pretty at 14 on the list is Gustav Magnar Witzoe with a net worth of R43 billion. Witzoe is only a mere 25 years old and his source of wealth is through Fish-farming. Witzoe is based in Norway.

Lynsi Snyder is tied with Witzoe with a net worth of R43 billion. Snyder is 36 years old and is the President of IN-N-Out burger. Snyder is based in America.

At number 12 is Nathan Blecharczyk who has networth of a whopping R53 billion. Blecharczyk is 35 years old and  is the co-founder of Airbnb.

Brian Chesky not only shares the 12th spot with Blecharczyk, he is the co-founder of Airbnb. Chesky is worth R53 billion.

Joe Gebbia is the third co-founder of Airbnb and shares the 12th spot with his colleagues. Gebbia’s net worth is R53 billion.

Agnete Kirk Thinggaard is the co-owner of Lego and has a net worth of an astounding R68 billion. Thinggaard is only 35 years old and is based in Denmark. Thinggard comes in at number nine on the list.

At number eight is Scott Duncan with a net worth of R85 billion. Duncan’s source of wealth is through pipelines and is based in the USA.

Tied at eight is Aiyawatt Srivaddhanapraba with a networth of R85 billion. Srivaddhanapraba is 33 years old and is the CEO of King Power. Srivaddhanapraba is based in Thailand.

At number six is Eduardo Saverin who has an epic net worth of R140 billion. Eduardo is 36 years old and is the Co-owner of Facebook. Eduardo is based in Brazil.

Dustin Moskovitz comes in at number five with a net worth of R160 billion. Moskovitz is 34 and is another co-founder of Facebook. Moskovitz is based in the USA.

Lukas Walton is at number four with a steep networth of R220 billion. Lukas is 32 years old and is the chairman of Walmart.

At number three is Zhang Yiming with a net worth of R234 billion. Yiming is 35 years old and is a self-made software tycoon.

Yang Huiyan comes in at number two with a massive R320 billion. Huiyan is 37 and is the co-owner of real estate company, Country Garden holdings.

At number one is the well known Mark Zuckerberg with an unbelievable R903 billon. Mark Zuckerberg is self-made and he is the CEO and Co-founder of Facebook. Zuckerberg is based in the USA.
