Earlier this week, five of Meghan Markle’s closest friends opened up about the real Meghan and her relationship with her father.
They claimed that Meghan wrote a heartfelt letter to her father, soon after her wedding, and begged him to stop harassing her via the media. The letter was reportedly written in August 2018.
Her father, Thomas Markle, has now shared the contents of that letter, less than a week after news of it broke. We are starting to see a pattern here, he really just does these things for the media attention, hey.
While Thomas was telling the media that he couldn’t get a hold of Meghan and that she had been avoiding him, the letter paints a different picture. In one section, Meghan tells her father:
“I called and texted. I begged you to accept help – we sent someone to your home. And instead of speaking to me to accept this, or any help, you stopped answering your phone and chose to speak to tabloids.”
I truly hope Meghan never speaks to this man again. This letter was written in August. During the times #ThomasMarkle was doing interviews claiming she hasn’t spoken to him. He has lied and lied again. What a “father” pic.twitter.com/MN8VJnwoIs

To that, Thomas explained that he didn’t stop answering his phones, he was in the hospital after having suffered a heart attack. Thomas claims that “Meg and Harry knew what was going on.” She went on:
“You haven’t reached out to me since the week of our wedding, and while you claim you have no way of contacting me, my phone number has remained the same.”
Her five friends, in their anonymous interview with People Magazine, confirmed that they are still able to reach Meghan on her number.
Meghan also lashed out at her father for criticising Prince Harry in the media, adding that the Duke of Sussex has been “nothing but patient, kind and understanding” about the family politics.
Thomas told Daily Mail that Meghan’s letter was a “dagger to his heart” and allegedly showed reporters texts he had sent her.
Daily Mail obtained a copy of the five-page letter. It can be viewed in its entirety here.
