The daughter of legendary TV funnyman Tim Conway has struck a critical blow in the legal battle against her stepmother over her father’s care.

Kelly, 56, ‘received a temporary restraining order to stop his current wife’s plans to move the ailing comic from his current medical facility,’ according to Fox News

Charlene Conway had allegedly tried to move Tim ‘into a lesser-quality home’ according to the website.

The 84-year-old television legend is reportedly suffering from severe dementia.

That’s according to documents filed by his daughter, and obtained by People on Friday. 

The outlet is reporting that Tim’s daughter Kelly is seeking to become conservator of her ailing father.

That appointment would afford her power over much of his affairs, including his medical treatments.

It seems Conway’s wife Charlene’s recent actions motivated Kelly to get involved with her father’s care.

The documents stated that Charlene, to whom the comic legend has been married to since 1984, is ‘planning to move him out of the excellent skilled nursing facility he is currently at.’

Instead, he would be placed in a facility where he won’t have access to ‘registered nurses at all times and his 24-hour caregiver and speech therapist (to help with swallowing).’

A sad description went on to describe that Tim can no longer ‘properly provide for his personal needs for physical health, food, and clothing.’

In addition, the once animated actor is apparently ‘almost entirely unresponsive.’

Tim, who is originally from Ohio, is primarily famous for several television roles he played back in the 1960s and 1970s.
