Weather forecast and UV index for all provinces

Gauteng: Fine becoming partly cloudy and hot.

UVB sunburn index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, but very hot in the Lowveld with isolated thunderstorms from the afternoon, except in the Lowveld where it will become fine.

Limpopo: Cloudy in places the east at first with morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and hot to very hot, with isolated thunderstorms from the afternoon, except in the Lowveld and Limpopo Valley where it will become fine.

North-West Province: Fine and hot but very hot in the west.

Free State: Fine and hot.

Northern Cape: Morning fog along the coast where it will be partly cloudy and cool otherwise fine and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly.

Western Cape: Cloudy in the west and south-west at first where it will be cool otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot. Light rain is expected in the extreme south-west by early morning. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly but light along the south coast becoming moderate south-westerly by afternoon.

UVB index: Extreme.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy in the south at first, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places over the interior. It will become cloudy from the west along the coast in the evening with light rain west of Oyster Bay overnight. The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the west at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy in places along the coast and adjacent interior at first, otherwise fine and hot but warm along the coast. It will become cloudy south of the escarpment in the evening with light rain in places overnight. The wind along the coast will be light north-westerly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly becoming southerly in the afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm, but to very hot in the north. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the north. The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly to north-easterly, becoming southerly to south-easterly in the afternoon.

UVB index: Low.
